RACING

 

TORQUIN will be nominated for Armidale, on Saturday, in what is shaping as her career defining run. Hopefully, between Geoff and his vet, they have found a couple of gear changes, which will see her competitive.  

 

TRIALS

 

PICK UP THE TAB was scratched from her trial following an elevated temperature, with her temperature spiking again last weekend. Will be given a short let up. 

 

GOLDANE will have her 2nd trial this preparation at Hawkesbury, tomorrow, over 1000m.

 

CUESTA will trial on Friday, at Rosehill. Has come to hand nicely, for Bjorn. 

                             

STABLE CHATTER

 

REAL BAKER has settled into the paddock well, where he will take advantage of the spring grass, and warm sun, on his back.

 

SMART CRY is 2/3rds through her spell, with a return to pre training scheduled for early November.

 

BROADWAY FOLLIES is moving freely in the paddock.    

 

HOME AFFAIRS/ORCHIDIA filly came into the stables Wednesday 15th, however pulled up short after a track work session. On inspection, was found to have a small fragment floating in the hind fetlock joint, requiring removal.

 

TIGER OF MALAY filly is next to come into Warwick Farm, following her last stages of pre training.

 

BIVOUAC/WELL DONE YOU filly is midway through her spell after being broken, spelled, has a short preparation. Will commence pre training mid/late November.
