No luck last week with our 3 runners, each finding race vagaries a factor in their performances. CUESTA has been nominated for KEMBLA GRANGE on Saturday, in a BM 64 over 1400m. BROADWAY FOLLIES and SMART CRY will be nominated for next week, with each having come through their runs well. The TRAPEZE ARTIST filly arrived into Mark Walker’s Cranbourne stables, having impressed during her early education at Thenford Farm. FOXGLOVE was spelled following her jump out, with

The Stables Weekly Update 3 August 2026
RACING - BROADWAY FOLLIES was strong late, at Kembla Grange, on Thursday. Jumped well from barrier 3 but was unable to hold a forward spot, as speed came across from the outside. Strung up in traffic on the corner seeing daylight approx. 200m from home. Good to the line. CUESTA had very little luck at Randwick/Kensington, on Wednesday. Zac Lloyd got held up behind horses in the straight, tried for a run behind the leader, along the fence, only for it to close on him. SMART

CUESTA will be the first of our 3 runners this week, when she lines up on the Kensington track, at Randwick, on Wednesday. With Zac Lloyd wanting to ride again, following her good win at Kembla, she has drawn barrier 4 of 8, in the 1550m race. Will be competitive again. BROADWAY FOLLIES will go to Kembla Grange on Thursday following her forget run at Newcastle last start. Has trained on well and seems well placed in the Provincial BM 68 over 1200m. The Stables Weekly Update 27th July 2026
RACING - BROADWAY FOLLIES has been nominated for Thursday, at Kembla Grange in a Provincial BM 68 over 1200m. CUESTA has been accepted at Randwick/Kensington (F&M BM 72 over 1550m), on Wednesday, with Zac Lloyd in the saddle again. SMART CRY has been nominated for Rosehill on Saturday, in a Midway BM 72 over 1400m. Will also be nominated for Wyong on Sunday, as insurance. STABLE CHATTER - REAL BAKER has settled into the paddock well and he will agist until late August. RE
