CUESTA was a good winner at Kembla last Thursday, when well ridden by Zac Lloyd, being strong over the last 100m. Jumping well from the inside gate, Zac positioned her just behind the speed, challenged on the corner, and relished the step up in trip to 1300m. SMART CRY and CUESTA have been nominated this week, with SMART CRY coming through her last trial in good order, with a start at ROSEHILL in a Midway BM 72 over 1300m on Saturday, a possibility, and CUESTA, having a number of options at Kembla on Thursday, over 1300m, Goulburn on Friday in a 1400m race, and Sunday at Hawkesbury, over 1500m. RACING - BROADWAY FOLLIES started on Saturday, at Newcastle, in BM 64 Hcp over 1300m. When slow to jump and get into stride, she found herself 3 back the fence, with little opportunity to improve. The muddling pace on a sticky track, which she did not appear to relish, made her task to run on virtually impossible.
