Chaos reigned at Newcastle when CUESTA went to try and have some luck, and break her maiden. Has had no luck to date and Newcastle continued in that vein. On an extremely hot day, with horses not comfortable in the heat, and reacting to the hot wind blowing, saw 4 scratched late at the barriers, while the rest, save the favourite, were locked in the barriers for approx 10 minutes. CUESTA will attempt to go one better, when she lines up in a SUPER MAIDEN, over 1250m, on Saturday, at Newcastle’s Beaumont track. Has worked well since her Orange run, and  deserves to change her 3 2nds and 2 3rds record, from her 6 starts, to date.   REAL BAKER returns to pre training today, following a 7 week break, where he has done nicely.
