RACING
CUESTA had her normal bad gate to contend with, on Saturday at Newcastle, drawing outside but one, over the 1850m. Squeezed up mid race, and held up for a run coming to the turn, saw her get to the outside with approx 200m to go. By then the race was over, as the winner had an easy 1 out 1 back run, got clear at top of straight and sprinted to put the race out of doubt. Finished strongly to run another 2nd.
TRIAL
SMART CRY trialled well again on Thursday, at Warwick Farm, over 800m. She has come through well and is ready to go to the races.
STABLE CHATTER
PICK UP THE TAB continues to do, and work, well, with no issues to date. Bjorn is looking at a trial on Friday, 23 February, all going to plan.
REAL BAKER is ticking over nicely at Warwick Farm, as Bjorn increases his work load. Looking to jump out/trial late Feb/early Mar.
BROADWAY FOLLIES has settled in well in her new surroundings, at Wyong, with Kristen Buchanan. Given a regime of soft track work, with plenty of pool work, she is taking all in her stride.
FOXGLOVE was down to be floated to Hanover Lodge last Wednesday, having completed her spell, following surgery/recovery.
REAL MAGICAL ( the TIGER OF MALAY filly) will continue to agist for a further week with pre training to commence early February.
RESCORE will have another piece of strong work on Wednesday, at Warwick Farm, as a lead up to a jump out/trial early/mid February.
The IN THE CONGO/BVICTIMS filly has arrived at FERNHILL where she will agist until early Feb, when she will commence early education/breaking in. SHARE AVAILABLE
BJORN BAKER – Pick Up The Tab; Real Baker; Rescore, Cuesta,
Foxglove; Real Magical
