The Stables Weekly Update 3 August 2026

RACING -

BROADWAY FOLLIES was strong late, at Kembla Grange, on Thursday. Jumped well from barrier 3 but was unable to hold a forward spot, as speed came across from the outside. Strung up in traffic on the corner seeing daylight approx. 200m from home. Good to the line.

CUESTA had very little luck at Randwick/Kensington, on Wednesday. Zac Lloyd got held up behind horses in the straight, tried for a run behind the leader, along the fence, only for it to close on him.

SMART CRY was a victim of track bias on Saturday, at Rosehill. Placings came from the inside 3 barriers, with on speed runners having a big advantage.

STABLE CHATTER -

REAL BAKER is midway through his spell and plans are for him to return to pre training early September.

REAL MAGICAL is into her 3rd week of pre training, and will return to Bjorn’s stables, at Warwick Farm next week. SHARE AVAILABLE

RESCORE is enjoying her let up at Silverdale Farm where she will spell for a further 6 weeks. Is doing particularly well.

FOXGLOVE jumped out on Friday, at Warwick Farm. Was slow away but improved during the hit out to finish on well. Has done enough this time in and will go for a break.

DECIMATE has settled into her spell well after showing signs she had come to the end of her time in Jason’s stables this preparation.

AIQUILLE ROUGE has come to the end of his stint in Jack’s stables and has gone to the paddock.

LADY SOUSAI is doing well pre training and Bjorn is looking to bring her into Warwick Farm, mid August.
