RACING

CUESTA had another run at Orange on Tuesday, 30th Dec over 1600m, full of not much luck. Drew the outside gate, she was held up at a critical time at the top of the straight, then flew the last 50m to just miss, beaten a nose for 2nd.

STABLE CHATTER

PICK UP THE TAB found another way to upset Bjorn’s plans for him, this time cutting a leg during a paddock frolic, requiring vet treatment, and an easing in work. Will  be approx 2 -3 weeks recuperating.

REAL BAKER is due to return to Warwick Farm early January, having come to the end of his pre training.

SMART CRY will trial at Warwick Farm, on Friday, 9th January. Has worked very nicely for Jason, and he will give her 2 trials, before sending her back to the races, early February.

BROADWAY FOLLIES will shortly leave the spelling farm having completed her recuperation programme, to go to her new trainer, Kristen Buchanan, at Wyong.

FOXGLOVE has come through her surgery well, and has been returned to her breeder/owner’s property to recuperate. Will agist for a further 2+ months.

TIGER OF MALAY filly is coming towards the mid-point of her spell, where she will continue to agist for a further 3-4 weeks.

RESCORE arrived into Bjorn’s stables on Saturday, has settled in well, and will have a “stretch of the legs” on Wednesday, at Warwick Farm.
