The Stables Weekly Update 8th June 2026
RACING -
REAL BAKER will go to Randwick tomorrow, on the Kensington track. Has drawn a gate (3), with Winona Costin in the saddle. Looking for an improved performance on a better surface than last start’s heavy.
BROADWAY FOLLIES has come through her nice Wyong trial in good order and has been accepted for Gosford on Thursday. Has been off the scene for some time and will improve with the outing.
TRIALS -
CUESTA will trial again on Friday at Randwick, over 1050m. Has continued to improve following her first trial.
STABLE CHATTER -
RESCORE pulled up slightly sore from her gallop on Wednesday, and Bjorn has decided to ease off her for the time being. She has gone to the paddock to develop and mature some more.
FOXGLOVE has been back in pre training for the past 3 weeks and is likely to come into Warwick Farm next week.
DECIMATE has completed her time in the paddock and commenced pre training this morning at Fernhill.
The BETTER THAN READY/TAVI L’ARMOUR colt has arrived back in Jack’s stables currently doing trotting and cantering work. Will build up slowly for the balance of the month.
SMART CRY is doing well back at Warwick Farm. Jason has started to increase her workload as he looks to trial her in 3-4 weeks.
The BRUTAL/HOTTENTOTTA filly has completed her stint with the breaker and has settled into Bjorn’s system. Has had approx. 3 weeks spell and will be monitored closely to see when a return to pretraining will occur.
