TORQUIN disappointed once again, and she has gone to a re homer, who will prepare her for an equestrian future. The same comment from jockey Grant Buckley “travelled well to corner, thought she would be among the placegetters, only for her to give nothing, when asked to extend” convinced all she did not want to be a racehorse. Hopefully, she will put more effort into her new career.

GOLDANE put in a perplexing performance on Cup day, at Kembla Grange. Extremely testing conditions confronted her come race time, with strong gusty winds playing havoc with those that raced without cover. Coupled with a very firm tack, and having to be re plated prior to the race, proved too much for her. Has had an easy week and will have a strong gallop tomorrow, to prepare her for her next run, more than likely next week.

CUESTA showed she was ready to go to the races, with a strong effort in her second trial, at Rosehill, over 1030m, last Wednesday. Jockey, Rachel King said on dismounting “ very pleasing effort, has come on from last trial, and will be competitive first up”.

The BIVOUAC / WELL DONE YOU filly will commence pre training this week. Be quick to snap up the last of the shares available,  as she has had all of her early education work paid for by her breeder, and may well go to the races, all going to plan, very shortly.
