Weekly Report 20th April 2026

No luck with either REAL BAKER or PICK UP THE TAB last week, both not facing the starter, having misfortune rear its ugly head.  PICK UP THE TAB injured himself on the float going to the races, and was a late scratching, whilst REAL BAKER was not accepted with at Orange, following an eye infection, after a trackwork gallop earlier in the week. Both look likely to be out of action for a couple of weeks.

SMART CRY has completed a 4 week let up, and returned to pre-training today, at Fernhill. BROADWAY FOLLIES appears to be back on track, with grass gallops scheduled for this week.

DECIMATE has settled into Jason’s stables well and is not fazed by the frantic comings and goings of track work at Warwick Farm. Will shortly go for a break.

I will be away travelling in NZ from Wednesday, returning to the office Wednesday 29^th April. Will have email access and will respond/ forward any communications at days end, all going to plan. Next newsletter Monday 4^th May.
