BROADWAY FOLLIES was a late scratching on Saturday, at Wyong, when she was found to be lame in the off fore, when being walked to the track to be saddled up. The shoe was removed and her hoof was poulticed. Will be treated during the week and, in the hope she gains a vet clearance later in week, Kristen has nominated her for Saturday, at Newcastle. She has been scratched from Muswellbrook tomorrow.

REAL BAKER once again was all at sea in the rain affected going on Saturday. Bjorn has decided to pull up stumps this preparation and send him to the paddock. He will time his next preparation to ensure we are racing on firm ground, where REAL BAKER will again get the opportunity to improve his win/start ratio.

CUESTA was a victim of the track bias when, having been excited in drawing the rails, she found on the wet track, it was not the place to be, with all winners coming down the centre/outside of the track. Despite that she was good to the line, only beaten 2.5 lengths. Has pulled up well and will have an easy week.

SMART CRY will have her second trial tomorrow, at Warwick Farm. Has come on since her first trial, and all going to plan, should be ready to commence this preparation, towards the end of the month.

REAL MAGICAL is coming to the end of her spell and is down to commence pretraining next week.

Have a top week.
