RACING
SMART CRY will run on Tuesday, at Newcastle, in a Midway Class 1, over 1250m. To be ridden by Jason Collett, she has come through her Kembla win in good style.
TORQUIN will have her first run for Geoff O’Brien, on Monday, at Scone, following the transfer of the races from Gunnedah, owing to the wet weather, in a 1250m Maiden.
STABLE CHATTER
BROADWAY FOLLIES is enjoying her move into a small yard, as she recovers from knee surgery.
CUESTA is into her third week of pre training, with a return to Warwick Farm early/mid September on the cards.
REAL BAKER will be nominated for trials at Rosehill, on Thursday.
PIERROPLANE continues to do well in pre training, at Hanover Lodge. Is approx half way through, with a return to Bjorn’s stables late August/early September.
PICK UP THE TAB is into his fifth week of pre training, with Bjorn looking to give him approx 2 weeks more, before coming back into Warwick Farm, early/mid September.
GOLDANE returned from pre training on Friday, to Warwick Farm, in great order.
HOME AFFAIRS/ORCHIDIA filly will shortly complete her pre training. With Bjorn back from France, he will decide on whether to bring her into Warwick Farm for an educational look, or send her straight to the paddock.
TIGER OF MALAY filly is into her 4th week of pre training, is eating and working well, with a first look at Warwick Farm, planned for later this month/early next.
