SMART CRY will don silks again, on Thursday, at Hawkesbury, over 1100m, with the barrier draw an important determinant, in whether trainer, Jason Coyle, decides to run. With another wet track likely to be served up, and based on her Kembla effort, we would hope she is competitive again. Backup plan is Newcastle, Tuesday week, over 1250m. Always tough to go from a maiden win, to win again at the next start, but SMART CRY has trained on well since Kembla.  

 

TORQUIN was not accepted with for Muswellbrook tomorrow. We opted to wait and go later in week/early next, at Narromine and Gunnedah, where we are looking at firmer tracks, same prize money on offer, and no likelihood of Sydney stables having representatives, as is the case, at Muswellbrook.
