RACING
SMART CRY went to Hawkesbury last Thursday, to debut in an unsuitable 1000m Maiden. She jumped on terms, settled back in the field, took the turn awkwardly before balancing up, to be strong on the line.
TORQUIN has come through Bathurst well, taking benefit from the run. Will be nominated this week, for a 1400m race, at Mudgee.
STABLE CHATTER
BROADWAY FOLLIES sadly, underwent surgery on her left knee to remove bone chips, following her Randwick run.
CUESTA has settled into the paddock well. She will have a good break, agisting until the 2nd week in August. Hopefully, her luck next preparation is all good, unlike the last.
REAL BAKER is into his 4th week of pre training, going well, and due back at Warwick Farm, either next Monday, or the one after.
PIERROPLANE is midway through his spell, and Bjorn is looking to commence pre training with him, late July/early August.
PICK UP THE TAB will have 2 more weeks in the paddock, commencing pre training week beginning 14th July. He will have approx 6 weeks with the pre trainer, before coming back into Warwick Farm.
GOLDANE is down to commence pre training, mid July, where she will have a good base of approximately 5 to 6 weeks, before coming back into Warwick Farm, late August/early September.
HOME AFFAIRS/ORCHIDIA filly will commence pre training this week, with a planned 3 – 4 weeks work with the pre trainer, before coming into Warwick Farm.
TIGER OF MALAY filly is down to commence pre trainer towards the middle of the month.
