RACING
SMART CRY has been hamstrung owing to the wet weather, and has been nominated for Kembla Grange, on Thursday, in a 1000m Maiden.
TORQUIN is in the same boat, as wet tracks are not to her liking, and we are looking for a firm track to commence her stint with Geoff.
STABLE CHATTER
BROADWAY FOLLIES is doing well as she continues on her recovery programme. Will be moved into a small yard, later in month/early next.
CUESTA will commence pre training next week, after doing nicely during her break.
REAL BAKER will have a strong gallop this week, weather permitting, as Bjorn readies him for a trial towards the end of the month.
PIERROPLANE is into his second week of pre training, is working well, with Bjorn looking to bring him back into Warwick Farm, late August/early September.
PICK UP THE TAB is into his third week of pre training, going nicely, with Bjorn looking to give him a further 3 more, before coming back into Warwick Farm.
GOLDANE has had 3 weeks of pre training, doing everything right. Bjorn will look to give her another 3 weeks, before returning to Warwick Farm.
HOME AFFAIRS/ORCHIDIA filly is midway through her pre training, and will have another 2 – 3 weeks more. Not “a straight forward filly” according to the pre trainer, but showing improvement as she learns how to be a racehorse.
TIGER OF MALAY filly has had two weeks of pre training, handling it all well, with a first look at Warwick Farm, planned for later this month/early next.
